Organic installation. An infra red lighting fixture hanging over a plexiglass seated chair. Fertile soil with sprouts growing under the chair.

The heat transmitted by the infra red fixture evokes the body heat of a person, who had occupied the chair but is no longer present. The sprouts stretching towards the heat are a living element full of freshness. They bring new life but are kept under artificial circumstances: the infra red often used in green houses and terrariums (cf. plexiglass seat). In its entirety, the piece evokes feelings of mourning over a past relationship which still has its pains and hopes.
